Day 24: F.R.I.E.N.D.S

When I started watching FRIENDS in the star world during the summer vacation, I became a fan of it. I have 4 seasons of it out of 10 in my lappy now. One of the reason of being a fan of it is obviously it's limitless humor and fantastic story. But the best thing about FRIENDS is its portrait of Friendship between the six amazingly mad people. Irrespective of their social status, gender, income etc they simply rock. Life with such close friends would be real perfect with no reservation, no ill feeling and lots of love and humor of course. One would be so lucky and blessed if he/she gets such friend who would say just like its title song says: " I WILL BE THERE WITH YOU." The sense of security, the fun of being with your close friend so close are just like the blessing of GOD. Hope you get or have such friends who will make your life as beautiful as presented in a fiction story. And you would gladly say: Live the life as if you are in heaven.....

DAY 22: TWO of My Fav Videos

Day 21: Just 9 more days

Since the day I started the 30 days challenge, I have tried anything each day to post in my blog. In two cases I just bluffed by giving the reason of busy schedule, but I wasn't lying. Irrespective of my mood, my desire, my tiredness I have tried to write something good and new every time; though I am not very successful in that. But hey! it's better to loose trying than not to try at all.

My life most of the time is quite eventful one and when I write a blog at the end of the day just before midnight (as I am doing now)in a hurry fighting with myself and my mood I really learnt self control again. I have tried to keep my personal life and my blog apart and not to post anything pointing someone or some group only because I had a bad day. Any way, no one must have noticed that.

Ok, it's getting late to post this blog. Bye....

Day 20: Love via Electro-Magnectic wave...

You must have been knowing that I have got a very good ladies company mainly comprising of sisters and committed girls. And the curious thing I found among them is about their love life which started off through social networking. Without seeing each other, not knowing about themselves initially still they ventured and got and getting the flavour of LOVE. It's truly amazing. Isn't it?

Because I have uploaded more than thousand photos in my orkut profile, got a complete bio data of myself as profile information making it as funny, informative and decent as possible but still...no success.
Ya, I know it's not that easy, I mean getting selected by a girl. We boys need more experience and Runaway signals(Refer EcologY)to register our name in EM love. Still searching for that Runaway signal. Till then I am happy being Handicapped......

Day 19: Titanic

When I say the word Titanic words and feelings like romance, love, sacrifice. Everyone just think about the immortal love story of Jack n Rose. Really immortal! Isn't it? I guess the story couldn't have become immortal until unless the poor unselfish Jack had to die..There are many Jacks all around who are constantly dying to see their Rose happy in their lives.

Anyway condolence to the people who died in that tragic accident in the real situation, but the imaginary Jack just overtook all in getting people's attention. Sorry Jack, you have no place in this real world! Have fun in your imaginary outer world!!

DAY 16: INFLUENCE

It's amazing how people around you can influence you. You may have never noticed it, but each and every moment, you get influenced by somebody or somethings. From answering a question to writing a blog, each action is influenced by some other actions. Those who have understood this, must be smiling now!! Isn't it?

Talking about influence, I would acknowledge that my friends have influenced me a lot in different stages of my life. I don't know whether I am good or bad, or whether I have ever done anything good for anyone, but the best thing that I have done; that too by myself (without much of INFLUENCE stuff) is that I have chosen my friends very carefully, may be I have less friends but each of them is now a part of me. And whatever good is in me, that's mostly because of their influences.

Thanking my all friends- for bringing the best in me, for defining friendship to me and for making me what I am.............

DAY 12: Durga PUJA

When the whole country must be celebrating Durga Puja vacation or holidays, I am here writing blog staying away from home in the institute which appears to come from another Universe. And the weather has also taking its toll with heavy rain and muddy road. Still I am quite enjoying this situation because of my friends. Because after all it's all about having fun.

There's not much to write today in this cold weather so just wish you a Happy Durga Puja...

Day 11: Wealth, Success and Love

A woman came out of her house and saw 3 old men with long white beards sitting in her front yard. She did not recognize them. She said "I don't think I know you, but you must be hungry. Please come in and have something to eat."

"Is the man of the house home?", they asked. "No", she said. "He's out." "Then we cannot come in", they replied.

In the evening when her husband came home, she told him what had happened. "Go tell them I am home and invite them in!" The woman went out and invited the men in. "We do not go into a House together," they replied. "Why is that?" she wanted to know.
One of the old men explained: "His name is Wealth," he said pointing to one of his friends, and said pointing to another one, "He is Success, and I am Love." Then he added, "Now go in and discuss with your husband which one of us you want in your home."

The woman went in and told her husband what was said. Her husband was overjoyed. "How nice!!", he said. "Since that is the case, let us invite Wealth. Let him come and fill our home with wealth!"

His wife disagreed. "My dear, why don't we invite Success?" Their daughter-in-law was listening from the other corner of the house. She jumped in with her own suggestion: "Would it not be better to invite Love? Our home will then be filled with love!"

"Let us heed our daughter-in-law's advice," said the husband to his wife. "Go out and invite Love to be our guest."

The woman went out and asked the 3 old men, "Which one of you is Love? Please come in and be our guest."
Love got up and started walking toward the house. The other 2 also got up and followed him. Surprised, the lady asked Wealth and Success: "I only invited Love,
Why are you coming in?"
The old men replied together: "If you had invited Wealth or Success, the other two of us would've stayed out, but since you invited Love, Wherever He goes, we go with him. Wherever there is Love, there is also Wealth and Success!!!!!!"

Day 10: Time and Responsibility

This is a story I have read years ago, may be you also know it, but still it's a nice story and worth full of life to be posted in my blog.

A story:

One day when a businessman came back to his home from the office, his five-year-old son was waiting for him at the door. The father went inside, relaxed and had a cup of tea. The son then asked his father, “ Father, I would like to ask one question to you?”

Father : Yes son, you can ask.

Son: Father, Can you tell me how much your one hour cost?

Father : How is it concerned to you. Why are you asking for these details?

Son: I had a feeling to know that. Please father, tell me how much you earn in an hour?

Father : If you so eager to know then let me tell you that I earn 200 rupees per hour.

Son: Oh! That’s great father. Can you give me 100 rupees?

Father did not like this and refused to give the money. He got angry on this behavior of his son. He did not want to waste his hard earned money like this. The boy went to his room.

The father went ahead and rested for some time, had dinner and watched television. When his anger vanished, he thought about his son and his dialogue that they had today. He wondered that my son don’t ever ask for any money, it might be something very important.

So he went to his son’s room. His son was reading a book in his bed. The father sat beside him and gave 100 rupees that he demanded. The son thanked him and took out few notes under his pillow. He counted the money and gave it to his father. He said, "Father, here are 200 rupees for you, now can I take your one hour?"




Moral: Don't be like the picture depicts. Don't spoil a rare divine relationship for the sake of such a common thing like Money.

Day 8: Fear

We fear at each and every steps of our life. Particularly fear to death is the most irrelevant one and as it's inevitable but still we fear as child fears to go in dark. There's a dialogue in the movie Shutter Island: " Do you know what fear does to mind? it corrodes it, rusts it and make you fragile." Fear of 'something going to happen bad' always holds you back as said in the film Shashank redemption: " Fear holds you prisoner, hope sets you free."







Try to suppress your fear of things because "What we fear comes to pass more speedily than what we hope." But it has some good aspect also. Sometimes "A good scare is more worth than a good advice." So never think that you should try to eliminate all fears from you because that's not practical. Instead try to be courageous since being courageous is not the absence of fear, it's the ability to face it. We should even appreciate the person who gets scared by small things because he/she lives each day of his/her life facing his/her fear without succumbing to it.

Moral: Don't fear the fear of getting feared, fear if you can't fight out your fear.

Day 7: Smile

Different colors of smile:


Everyone smiles in the same language, it brings two persons close and confuses an incoming frown. Sometimes when your beloved gets upset and wouldn't smile you will always feel the absence of it and when you see it, you see a light in the window of your beloved face and easily know that he/she is home. Because you can never find a smiling face which is not beautiful.

Mother Teresa said: Every time you smile, it's an action of LOVE at someone, a gift to that person and a beautiful thing.

Smile with purity makes heart blossom with love and affection, the world behind a smile always looks beautiful. But, please don't use it as a weapon of mass destruction by giving constant artificial smile.

In the end: Always remember to be happy because you never know who's falling in love with your smile.

Day 6: Imagination

It's said that: Imagination is better than knowledge. Because what now we see is once only imagined. So, we should always use the super power of Imagination so that you can say that: " “You see things; and you say, 'Why?' But I dream things that never were; and I say, 'Why not?'”

They say "Love is the triumph of imagination over intelligence."

Oscar Wilde once said: “People who love only once in their lives are. . . shallow people. What they call their loyalty, and their fidelity, I call either the lethargy of custom or their lack of imagination.”

Because "You cannot depend on your eyes when your imagination is out of focus."

So always remember: "Love is a canvas furnished by Nature and embroidered by imagination."

And you should know that "Imagination is the beginning of creation. You imagine what you desire, you will what you imagine and at last you create what you will."
Apply the above concept while eating mess food.

Because "Imagination will often carry us to worlds that never were. But without it we go nowhere."

Day 5: A day without Cell phone

In this world of technology and so called busy life a Cell phone has almost become a necessity. People have become so addicted to it that it has now promoted itself under the basic needs to live for at least a particular group of people. For example- Lovers, those who are only child of their parents, some too busy blackberry boys and also me who will soon hold world record for getting maximum number of messages in a given year without having a girl friend.

But as I have stated before that addiction is not very good, particularly towards an object, I tried to test my level of addiction for my Broken, ugly, cheap and yet most invaluable cell phone. I did this test during the exam time thinking it will avoid disturbance and I could study properly. I somehow succeeded in it but discovered a really nice way for all of us to have a bit of self assessment by the help of this small exercise.

Before I began my exercise or you can call it as a Hibernation, I realized that after successfully completing it one can answer some intriguing questions which He/She has failed to answer in his/her busy life. Even you should try it sometime.

The questions are:

1. How many times did you really want to just go and switch on the cell phone? ( You can know- your addiction level)

2. Who would be the person you wana call or message or want to see his/her message when your first urge arises? (It answers- why are you addict?)

3. Whom did you miss the most? ( You can know- whom you love the most!)

4. Did you get a headache during this exercise? (You will know- Was it a kind of dysphoria?)

5. Were you normal during the whole time or different? (Should be answered by your friends)

6. When you completed the exercise did you feel happy and proud?
( It will tell your attitude)

7. Finally, How much are you missed? ( This you will know by your own methods!)

I got most of the answers which was somehow satisfactory to me because I could know my self better. Hope you will also get enlightened when you do this difficult test.

So, now the question is Would you dare?

Day 4: Team work

Whenever you see the group of swans flying in the sky in “V” shape, you might think why they fly in a particular shape? Earlier no body knew the reason for this shape. Now the science has solved this mystery.

Whenever any swan open and moves his wings to take a fly, this helps the other swan to take up the flight. Like this when the entire group fly in a “V” shape the efficiency of the speed goes up by 71% as compare to the speed of one single swan.

This is why the intelligent swans fly in “V” shape. If any swan tries to get away from that shape, he starts feeling the stress and resistance, so he don’t fly alone. Hence, this swan set back to his own group to take the benefit of group synergy.

When the leader of the group gets tried, he comes back by folding his wings and another swan takes the place of the leader. They also make a particular sound while flying as to motivate the swans flying in the front. When some one gets hurt or not well, he start to fall out from the group, to help him immediately other two swans also leaves the group and come down with him. They stay with him till he recovers back or he dies. Then, go back to their group or join some other group in the sky.

MORALE:

THE NATURE HAS GIVEN INTELLIGENCE. WE SHOULD LEARN THE TEAM WORK, POWER OF UNION AND ONENESS..

Day 3: Addiction

Today in our Neurobiolgy class we learnt some good stuffs. About pleasure, addiction, alcohol etc etc. Two terms which are related to addiction are :
Euphoria and Dysphoria.

Euphoria: Medically recognized as a mental/emotional state defined as a profound sense of well-being. Happens after taking drugs, alcohol, smoking etc.

Dysphoria: An unpleasant or uncomfortable mood, such as sadness (depressed mood), anxiety, irritability, or restlessness. Happens when addicted people don't get any narcotics.

Now, get out of that narcotics stuffs and relate those scientific terms to our day to day life.

Euphoria: A sense of well being which is felt when you have a loving lover.

Dysphoria: An unpleasant or uncomfortable mood, such as sadness, anxiety, irritably or restlessness. Happens when:
Your lover leaves you.
Your lover cheats you.
The person you love does not love you back.
Your lover has got another lover.
Your lover spends less time with you.
etc etc.

As you can clearly see probability of Dysphoria is more in LOVE than the feeling of Euphoria. So, beware of LOVE>>>>>>>>

But don't loose the capability to LOVE.

Day 2: Worry

In our Life we worry a lot. Practically it's inevitable, so it will be a vague advise if I will say 'why worry?'. But what we can do is we can minimize it as much as possible, so that our present in which we live and enjoy should be bright and worth living. So, I got this sequence of situations for you to make you understand that Life is too short just to worry.

Why we worry?
One of the main reason of worry is we are becoming old and we want to secure our future(includes money, career, life partner etc). But getting old gives us two possibilities-
Either you are healthy or sick;
If you are healthy, then there is no reason to worry,

but if you are sick then there are again two possibilities-
either you are gonna change your life style and become healthy and cured
or
you will remain sick for long time..

If you become healthy, there is no worry;
but if you are not, then it gives two possibilities-
Either you live or you will die,

if you live it's ok, but if you die then there are two possibilities-
Either you go to heaven or hell.

If you go to heaven there is nothing to worry, but if you go to Hell,

Then you will find all your friends there including me..

And you would be so busy spending time with them that you will have no time to worry.


So, in a nutshell- Worry is like a rocking chair – it gives you something to do but it doesn’t get you anywhere.

DAY-1: Love

Everyone looks outside for everything, including love.
Love is all that everyone wants .
Their purpose in life is love; to love someone, to be loved,
to love their car, to love their dog, to love their garden etc.

But all these types of love are perishable and are destined to fade away.
The love we really want is within us all the time.
When we feel love, where is the love coming from?

It is within us, that’s because we are love.
So I need to sit in silence and get to know myself again,
because when I get to know my true self I will find out that I am love.

I don't need to look for it outside.
I have an imperishable supply of the most sweetest love possible within me.

30 days Challenge

Inspired by my Sister Barsha, I have also taken the 30 days challenge with an exception that topics will be surprise and I will try to make it funny instead of my personal feelings. Hope you would like them. Actually, it's really cool to write blog, it keeps you fresh and takes you away from the uncertainty of real world.
